By day, Matt Di Paola is the Managing Director of Huge Canada, an experience design agency. A 25-year veteran of the agency business, Matt helps brands transform their organizations through culture, innovation, entrepreneurialism and digitally-led thinking.
In his spare time, Matt runs a local innovation supper club (pre-Covid); photographs live music for a number of publications; advises MLSE’s Future of Sports Lab, TIFF’s Digital Advisory Board, Y-Labs, as well as start-ups including: Xicama Juice & sharing economy company, Spacefy.
He has presented at SXSW twice, EnsembleTO, Banff World Media Festival, Tech Toronto, Dx3, and Schulich School of Business. He has been published on Betakit, Media in Canada, Strategy, ThePopBreak and Creative Niche. In 2011, he was executive producer of the off-broadway New York City play “Quake,” and wrote, directed, and produced “The Grind” in 2001’s Toronto Fringe Festival.
