Dayton James

Originally from South East London, Dayton James is a singer/songwriter currently based in Toronto, Ontario. Over the past decade, he’s worked with award winning artists such as Shaggy, OMI, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Afro B. From R&B to EDM, he’s got a knack for composing lyrical and musical content that resonates across the board! In 2016, Dayton signed his Publishing to a joint venture between Black Butter and Kobalt. In 2019, Dayton released his debut EP, Nonnative, Vol. 1, which is a blend of Alternative R&B, soul, and pop. Fast forward to 2021 and Dayton James has already released two singles, Sunnydays. And Angelinblack. And is about to drop the highly anticipated Underyourskin.
