Abi Tripp

Abi is a Team Canada swimmer who competed at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and has been representing Canada on the international stage since 2015. Career highlights include winning a bronze medal at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in the 50-metre freestyle and at the London 2019 World Para Swimming Championships in the women’s 4×100-m freestyle relay. Born with mild cerebral palsy, she found freedom in the water and began her swimmer career at six years old. At the beginning of COVID-19, she started hosting an online experience on AirBnB, where she shares her journey and teaches goal setting. She studies psychology at Laval University. Away from the pool, Abi is passionate about food, photography, listening to music, and writing poetry.
